100 days of SNP government
By David Linden - August 20th 2007
My how time flies when you're enjoying yourself! Opinion polls show that the people of Scotland are still supporting the new nationalist government, more importantly, our lights are still on, we don't have nooses round our necks and the economy hasn't fallen apart. 100 days gone and the SNP government is working harder than ever, pushing through the promised policies. There is a new revolution in Scottish Politics, a party working hard for the people, standing up for Scots.
The new nationalist government has worked tirelsly, living up to and surpassing expectations - it has coped strongly with a terrorist attack and a foot and mouth outbreak. It has scrapped bridge tolls, reversed the decision to close vital accident and emergency units, scrapped the unfair graduate endowment fee's
This just goes to show that we really can thrive as a country. With a government in place that focusses on what benefits Scotland and not what puts smiles on the faces of those in London, the new executive have already shown to the people of Scotland that they can be trusted. Meanwhile, the Conservative party are in limbo, losing their seat in the Aberdeen, Midstocket and Rosemount by-election to the SNP, the future of the Labour party is on hold whilst they try to appoint a new leader.
Only one party has remained steady, calm, compossed and has progressed since May 3rd, The Scottish National Party.
Long may it continue!
